Out on Trona Road, where the Mojave stretches wide and neighbors actually know each other's names, the Trona Elks Lodge has been holding it down as the social heartbeat of this tight-knit community. Pull up a stool, order something cold, and you'll understand why regulars keep coming back. The bartenders here are the real deal, friendly and fast, and the drink prices won't leave you wincing at your wallet.

The back room is one of the Lodge's best-kept secrets. It transforms for weddings, receptions, and private gatherings in ways that genuinely surprise first-timers. Past guests have called it beautiful for events, and the space has the bones to make any occasion feel special. Whether it's a milestone birthday or a community fundraiser, this room delivers.

The Lodge runs on the spirit of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a fraternal tradition built around charitable giving, community service, and looking out for veterans and neighbors alike. With a 4.6-star rating from 41 reviews, the Trona Lodge earns its reputation the old-fashioned way: one cold drink and one good night at a time.

What We Offer

The bar is the anchor of the Lodge experience. Cocktails, cold domestics, and a full mix of spirits at prices that feel refreshingly honest. The bingo nights draw a crowd for good reason, lively, social, and a legitimate good time for regulars and newcomers alike. Live bands rotate through on occasion, and even on quieter nights the background music keeps the atmosphere humming.

Beyond the bar, the event room is available for private rentals including wedding receptions, memorial gatherings, fundraisers, and community celebrations. The Lodge also hosts periodic food events and school fundraiser dinners that connect the community around a shared table. Elks membership opens additional doors, including access to the broader BPOE network, charitable programs, and member-only events throughout the year.

For the Trona, CA community specifically, the Lodge serves as one of the few dedicated social venues in the region, making it far more than a bar. It's where the desert town gathers.

"I went to purchase a baked potato for the school function that they had and these people we're the most unwelcoming, and uh, not only that, but I paid fifteen dollars for a baked potato with one thing tab of butter, a small little thing of cheese, no sour cream, and some ground beef, like who puts ground beef on baked potato? The root beer float had hot root beer and one little scoop of ice cream, then they wanted to give us a little cup with a little bit of soda in there. I will never be purchasing anything that comes out of this place! Very unprofessional"

"Awesome place, family friendly, delicious food served at dinner on Tuesday's and Friday's, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Children parties are held at Easter and Christmas. Food drives are held at the town schools so food baskets can be given out at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Two Scholarships are given out at the end of the school year. So much more to enjoy."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
